Telesis Preparatory Academy held its annual Induction Ceremony for new members of the National Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society on Monday evening, April 27th. The National Honor Society (NHS) and the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) are the nation's premier organizations recognizing outstanding middle level and high school students who demonstrate excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Telesis staff, parents, and community friends gathered to see the new members of the organizations be recognized and presented with their membership card and emblem pin. NHS President Michael Weatherby and NJHS President Tyler Fallis gave welcoming addresses which explained the value of the organizations. Motivational speaker Patty Gillmore of PG Training & Consultants provided the keynote address. NHS & NJHS Advisor Padmaja Chava and members of the Faculty Council all took part in honoring these exemplary students.
