Telesis Preparatory Academy has been named to the Bronze level in the National Rank of all high schools eligible to be on this prestigious list. Telesis was above the AZ average for both Reading and Math.

Superintendent/Principal and Founder of Telesis Preparatory Academy, Dr. Sandy Breece, was honored recently by Delta Kappa Gamma Women Educator Honor Society by receiving the Spotlight award.
Dr. Breece founded Telesis in 1991 with 9 middle-school students and today, some 22 years later, Telesis plans the academic progress for almost 500 K-12 students.

Character Council thanks the staff and students for their support! Telesis donated 221 pairs of jeans and pants. “Wear Jeans to School winners” are Junior Academy: Mrs. Haye’s class with 57 pairs and Academy: Ms. Szpilka’s class with 18 pairs. The students in these JA and Academy classes were rewarded by wearing jeans to school on Friday, March 15th.

Come to the Community Open House on March 14th 5:00-8:00 for great fun and lots to see and do! Intermediate and Elementary students will have a Science Fair in the cafeteria and art work will be on display in the courtyard that same night. Food and fun will abound with clubs represented all over our campus. Young Author’s Night will display the writing talents of our students.

We got choice and we want the world to know about it, so we are shining a spotlight on effective education options for every child. We will kick off the week with an assembly at 8:30 Monday morning. “Holly Jolly Holidays” note cards made from the student-made snowmen in their art classes with Ms. Reinke. All proceeds to purchase art supplies for Telesis art classes for Kindergarten, Early Elementary, Elementary, and Intermediate students. These cards will also make great thank-you cards for after Christmas presesnts received.

Early Elementary student Deegan Cordova is a hero! Just before Thanksgiving Deegan witnessed his Great Grandmother experiencing chest pain. He used his good character skills and fast thinking to call 911 and describe what was happening to his Great Grandmother and where to come to help her. Paramedics arrived and she is OK today and doing well.
