Hello Telesis Parents and Staff!

Welcome to the Telesis Parent Teacher Booster Club page! We hope you will take the opportunity to get involved...together we can help make Telesis the best school in the state! 

What is PTBC?

PTBC stands for Parent Teacher Booster Club. 

Our PTBC is right at the heart of Telesis, building the connections between teachers, school staff, students, parents, neighbors, and the wider community to support our students. Through events, programs, fundraising, and community outreach efforts, we build the Telesis community and create fun, engaging, and innovative ties to the school. 

There are a number of exciting events hosted by Telesis PTBC. Whether you are dancing the night away with your kids at Ties & Tiaras, roaring with fellow Tigers at the Telesis Open House Carnival, designing our annual float, or enjoying a crisp winter morning while having pancakes with Santa and Stripes, you can feel the sense of community that makes Telesis so very special. The PTBC’s primary purpose is to enrich the experiences of all Telesis students. Telesis’ PTBC accomplishes these goals by providing both monetary and volunteer support.

What Do PTBC Members Do?

• Volunteer in the classroom (with fingerprint clearance)
• Volunteer at various school events and PTBC committees
• Be Ambassadors for Telesis
• Promote a fun/safe learning environment for students and staff
• Organize Dances and Family activities to bring Telesis families together
• Help with fundraiser and sports concessions
• Fundraise for Teacher Grants

We have discussed a lot of new ideas and projects we are hoping to roll out this year. Our kids at Telesis work hard and need some fun activities to look forward to in the future.

We have a lot of great ideas and the more ambassadors or helpers we have, the more we are able to do! So please come to our next meeting and see how you can be involved or let us know if you are interested in planning an event or being on a committee.

MEETINGS

Meetings are held the first Thursday of the month at 6:00pm in the Telesis Cafeteria.

Meeting dates for the 2023-2024 school year:

Aug 3rd  -  Sept 7th - Oct 5th - Nov 2nd - Dec 7th  

Jan 11th - Feb 1st - March 7th - April 4th - May 2nd
