About Ms. Nash...

My name is Marti Nash, and I have been teaching at Telesis for 14 years.  After  receiving a BS in Visual Arts from North Dakota State University in 1995, I started my career designing and building hands-on educational exhibits for a children’s museum.  When my son began                kindergarten 25+ years ago, I went back to school for an education degree.  I am highly qualified,  holding a K-8 multiple subject teaching credential in both CA and AZ with an EL (English Language) endorsement.  

I enjoy learning as well as teaching, and I am always looking for new and creative ways to reach students individually.  Learning environments should be          interesting, creative, and fun.  I believe in mutual respect with students,           continuous communication with parents, and keeping a sense of  humor at all times.  

In my spare time, I enjoy creating art, jogging, and making handmade soap from olive oil.
